Mani and Pedi

Today I will be getting a mani and pedi..most of you do not know that my real job is as a Nail Technician or in this case a Manicurist. This will be the second job interview for the same place. Part if the job interview is for me to give the lead tech a manicure and pedicure and well as I must receive both, I have never heard of having to receive them a part of the interview process but I imagine it is so I am aware of their practices. This should be interesting seeing as I have always done my own pedicure..lol

Today was a busy day!

Wow, what a busy day I had today!! Got up with the fam..son off to school, hubs off to work.. I went and picked up diapers for an order I had to make. Hid out in my little work shop chatting on the phone with my mom till about 10:30.  Mostly a typical day, except I had a job interview at a day spa at 12:30.

Yup. a job interview..in my "real life" (as much as I would love to do nothing more than make diaper creations) I am a Nail Technician. I have been looking for a place in the same town as me and I hop it all works out. Hours are good, just not full time. (If I can get www.diapercakepastryshop.com going) then I think things will work out very good. Hours are good, in the late afternoon till 8 pm. I know for most that sounds crappy but, most people are at work till 5 or 6. All things considering, I think they are decent hours.

Back home after my interview, boxed up the diaper chairs, off to the post office and then off to another appointment for my son.It is now 6 pm and I am finally sitting and relaxing! Till later that is..
